PRESENTING ART BY GARO, AND ART INSPIRED BY HIS ACHIEVEMENTS ON THE GRIDIRON AND OFF.

Garo with his painting, “Hearts On Fire”

In 1998, Garo learned that a family member was afflicted with an inoperable brain tumor. Feeling helpless, Garo decided to channel his energy into something positive. He set out to do something he had never done before– oil painting. Garo inadvertently started out on a similar path to the one he took when he started his football career- he did not take formal instruction, instead relying on his own instincts. Before long, Garo was turning out inspiring works which impressed his family and friends. They encouraged Garo to sell his art to raise funds for various charities across the country.

Sometimes I get up in the middle of the night and paint. I love bright colors and I love water. I’m hoping the paintings bring happiness to people.
